TDI - INTRO TO TECH 🎖
The TDI Intro to Tech course introduces students to the world of technical diving.
This course is designed as an introductory course to the TDI Advanced Nitrox course and the TDI Decompression Procedures course.
The objective of this course is to familiarize students with technical equipment configurations, to enhance open water diving skills (such as buoyancy, trim, and situational awareness), and to introduce students to advanced gas planning techniques within a no-decompression context.
This course is strictly a nodecompression course; students are permitted to use enriched air nitrox (EAN) mixes, provided the gas mix is within their current level of certification.
Intro to Tech may be combined with TDI Advanced Nitrox at the discretion of the instructor.
Training Prerequisites:

If you're feeling unsure about entering the Tech, no problem! You can join us for an exciting exciting one-day pool introduction to tech, where you'll have the chance to try out incredible gear and see just how simple it is!
We start with a dry-land equipment workshop to build muscle memory before jumping into the pool. In the water, you'll get comfortable with the new setup and practice foundational techniques.
The ultimate objective of this session is to help you confidently execute basic technical skills while holding perfect neutral buoyancy, completely independent of hand or fin movements.

EXCLUDED
❌ Lunch & transfer on classroom / pool days.
❌ Underwater photos and/or videos. (But they can be requested from the diving staff on board, with charges, if safety and standards requirement are met.)
❌ TIP (Crew and/or Instructor).
❌ Extra teaching days if needed.
❌ Marine National Park fees (Diver = 600 THB / Phi Phi ) are collected directly by the park rangers on the dive boat and must be paid by cash.
❌ Free Pick up and transfer services are not available from/to Phuket Town and the northern part of Phuket Island. However, these services can be arranged by the boat company.
(From 1 000 to 2 000 THB, depending on the location. Please inform us before booking.)
BOOKING
Please note that your day trip or diving course dates are only secured once payment (50% deposit or full amount) is received.
We will send an email confirmation to officially lock in your booking.
Take all the time you need to think it over ! Just please note that our spots are filled on a first-paid, first-served basis.
We take our teaching standards very seriously. While some centers maximize profits by accepting unlimited bookings and sourcing casual freelancers they even don't know on social media at the last minute, we choose a different path.
We only take bookings we can fully honor with our own trusted staff who are thoroughly trained in our high safety and service protocols.
The remaining balance be settled 72 hours (3 days) minimum before the start of the first day trip or diving to ensure your reservation.
We don’t accept balance payments on the first day of a course or on the day of departure.
All payments must be made according to the payment policy outlined above.
Failure to comply with the payment policy will result in a booking status of "non-confirmation" and we reserve the right to refuse the guest upon arrival without any refund.
⭐️ CANCELLATION POLICY ⭐️
Minus diving certification agency fees (e-learning = 3 000 THB), diving insurance subscription, any bank charges, credit card charges and any exchange rate losses if any incurred,
- Cancellations received 7 days or more before the first day trip/diving course are eligible for a full deposit refund,

Cancellations between 7 days and 72 hours before commencement of first day trip / diving course are eligible for a 50% deposit refund.
You can postpone to the next available day trip / diving course. (2 months)

Only if full price has been paid, cancellations between 72 and 18 hours before commencement of first day trip / diving course are eligible for a 30% refund.

No refund 18 hours or less before commencement of the first day trip / diving course.
⏰ If you show up later than the agreed time on your booking form, you will need to make your own arrangements to meet the dive boat but, in the interest of other customers,
we cannot delay the boat departure time. The cost of your missed trip cannot be refunded. You are responsible for any costs incurred.

We reserve the right to cancel your day trip or course if it is our opinion that you are intoxicated.

We reserve right to amend trip itineraries and dive site selection with regard to weather and safety considerations.
🗂 Administrative part 🗂
🔵 Clean copy of your passport, on the one hand, to take out your "diving" insurance, but also, at the request of the Thai authorities, to register you on the boat.
🔵 NAME of your hotel (Chalong, Rawai, Kata, Karon, Patong & Kamala areas).
🔵 E-mail address of each diver.
🔵 Copy of your highest certification card.
🔵 Copy of your diving logbook (last dives with Instructor stamp)
🔵 Copy of your diving insurance certificate (if you have one personal).
INSURANCES
ABC PHUKET DIVING strongly recommend that each Guest purchases comprehensive accident, medical, baggage and trip cancellation/interruption insurance when space is reserved.
Please be advised that if Guest chooses NOT to purchase any trip insurance, we will not be responsible for any financial disappointment caused by reasons beyond our control.
We also recommend that Guests ensure that they have adequate diving insurance.
We first provide a mandatory basic Thailand insurance that covers boat and scuba incidents for diving day trips and courses. Please note that this is a pay-and-claim insurance, where you pay the medical facility in advance and then claim back the expenses (this is a common practice in Thailand).
We offer our students complimentary support from reputable diving insurance companies like DAN, Dive Assist, or Dive Assure, depending on the courses they choose.
