Who is this course for?
The Open Water Diver Course is for anyone looking to learn to Scuba dive and obtain a scuba diving certification.
Course prerequisites
You must be 10 years old minimum and be in good health.
What do I get with this Course?
Graduates will receive the Open Water certification allowing for open water dives until 18m.
Certifications are lifetime recognized and accepted world wide.
Completing the water skills training
While you are completing the online course your dive Instructor will coordinate a time for you to complete the water training portion of this course.
Gain the basic skills to dive in a range of different environments or dive sites.
Gain a higher level of buoyancy skills.
Understand the principles of underwater navigation.
Understand the procedures for planning on deep dives.
Experience elective dives based on your local environment/ interests.
Current Diver trainees who have completed the necessary skills and theory modules and are aged 14 or over can also apply for their Advanced Diver qualification to dive to 30m.
In order to be a good diver you first need to be able to look after yourself and then be able to help other if needed.
Rescue Diver Course is a must for all experienced divers and in particular those who wish to take responsibility for the safety of other divers.
It is a pre-requisite to professional level training.
Rescue course has a significant focus on risk assessment and advanced buoyancy control to minimise the chance of having to perform a rescue or be rescued.
This unique course builds confidence and ability, providing the skills and knowledge to help you better understand how to respond safely and efficiently to surface and underwater emergencies to a maximum depth of 20m.
PREREQUISITES
To be a minimum of 15 years old.
Completed and passed Rescue academic section Quiz and Exam.
Have a current rescue Breathing/CPR and oxygen provider certificate from a recognized authority.
