Le cours Open Water Diver est un programme de base pour les plongeurs débutants. Il est structuré de manière à fournir les protocoles de sécurité essentiels, les notions de physique fondamentale et les compétences pratiques nécessaires à la planification et à l'exécution de plongées en autonomie avec un binôme, permettant aux participants d'atteindre des profondeurs allant jusqu'à 18 mètres.

Le cours Open Water Diver est destiné à tous ceux qui souhaitent apprendre à plonger et obtenir une certification de plongée sous-marine.
Prérequis de la formation :
Les programmes pour débutants ( Cours Open Water Diver ) exigent que les étudiants effectuent une évaluation de leur condition physique dans l'eau avant la formation en mer.
Le but de cette évaluation est de déterminer un niveau de confort de base composé de :

Bilan de nage (200m n'importe quel style ou 300m avec masque, tuba et palmes).

Flotter (⏱ 10 min)
Âge minimum 10 ans.
⚠️ Chaque étudiant doit valider au préalable tous les chapitres de la théorie du e-Learning
avant la session de formation en piscine (⏱ 3 à 5 heures) ⚠️
Structure du cours:

Au moins 1 entraînement en piscine est obligatoire.

4 plongées en milieu naturel sont obligatoires.
SSI - COURS OPEN WATER
Le programme SSI Open Water Diver fournit aux étudiants les connaissances et la formation nécessaires pour plonger de manière autonome avec un binôme également ou plus qualifié, dans des environnements équivalents à leur formation et à une profondeur allant jusqu'à 18 m .
📌 SSI recommande d'effectuer des plongées d'expérience ou
de formation supplémentaires lorsque cela est possible.

❌ Marine National Park fees (Diver = 600 THB / Phi Phi ) are collected directly by the park rangers on the dive boat and must be paid by cash.
❌ Free Pick up and transfer services are not available from/to Phuket Town and the northern part of Phuket Island. However, these services can be arranged by the boat company.

BOOKING
Please note that your day trip or diving course dates are only secured once payment (50% deposit or full amount) is received.
We will send an email confirmation to officially lock in your booking.
Take all the time you need to think it over ! Just please note that our spots are filled on a first-paid, first-served basis.
We take our teaching standards very seriously. While some centers maximize profits by accepting unlimited bookings and sourcing casual freelancers they even don't know on social media at the last minute, we choose a different path.
We only take bookings we can fully honor with our own trusted staff who are thoroughly trained in our high safety and service protocols.
The remaining balance be settled 36 hours minimum before the start of the first day trip or diving to ensure your reservation.
We don’t accept balance payments on the first day of a course or on the day of departure.
All payments must be made according to the payment policy outlined above.
Failure to comply with the payment policy will result in a booking status of "non-confirmation" and we reserve the right to refuse the guest upon arrival without any refund.
⭐️ CANCELLATION POLICY ⭐️
Minus diving certification agency fees (e-learning = 3 000 THB), diving insurance subscription, any bank charges, credit card charges and any exchange rate losses if any incurred,
- Cancellations received 4 days or more before the first day trip/diving course are eligible for a full deposit refund,

Cancellations between 3 days and 36 hours before commencement of first day trip / diving course are eligible for a 50% deposit refund.
You can postpone to the next available day trip / diving course. (2 months)

Only if full price has been paid, cancellations between 36 and 18 hours before commencement of first day trip / diving course are eligible for a 30% refund.

No refund 18 hours or less before commencement of the first day trip / diving course.
⏰ If you show up later than the agreed time on your booking form, you will need to make your own arrangements to meet the dive boat but, in the interest of other customers,
we cannot delay the boat departure time. The cost of your missed trip cannot be refunded. You are responsible for any costs incurred.

We reserve right to amend trip itineraries and dive site selection with regard to weather and safety considerations.
🗂 Administrative part 🗂
🔵 Clean copy of your passport, on the one hand, to take out your "diving" insurance, but also, at the request of the Thai authorities, to register you on the boat.
🔵 NAME of your hotel (Chalong, Rawai, Kata, Karon, Patong & Kamala areas).
🔵 E-mail address of each diver.
🔵 Copy of your highest certification card.
🔵 Copy of your diving logbook (last dives with Instructor stamp)
🔵 Copy of your diving insurance certificate (if you have one personal).
INSURANCES
ABC PHUKET DIVING strongly recommend that each Guest purchases comprehensive accident, medical, baggage and trip cancellation/interruption insurance when space is reserved.
Please be advised that if Guest chooses NOT to purchase any trip insurance, we will not be responsible for any financial disappointment caused by reasons beyond our control.
We also recommend that Guests ensure that they have adequate diving insurance.
We first provide a mandatory basic Thailand insurance that covers boat and scuba incidents for diving day trips and courses. Please note that this is a pay-and-claim insurance, where you pay the medical facility in advance and then claim back the expenses (this is a common practice in Thailand).
We offer our students complimentary support from reputable diving insurance companies like DAN, Dive Assist, or Dive Assure, depending on the courses they choose.
